Glyptotek Garden: A Tranquil Oasis
I went to Copenhagen during one of its coldest months. Although it was spectacular there were times, I was dreaming of the holiday transforming into a hot tropical paradise. Venturing to the glypotek transported me to this. The museum itself offers a peek into ancient Egypt, Rome, and Greece as well as 19th-century French and Danish paintings. While I found its pieces interesting the garden was the area that brought me the most tranquillity. I felt as though I was in an entirely new continent as I sat around greenery, listening to the trickles of the fountain amongst palm trees that grew as high as the glass dome that lit up the entire indoor oasis. This spot was not just a lovely setting but a great place to soak up the history that I just learned about.
