Step into the ancient capital of Malta, Mdina, perched on a scenic hill in the heart of the island. Enclosed by formidable fortifications, this historical gem beckons history enthusiasts with its picturesque streets, captivating museums, and charming cafes, offering a captivating glimpse into Malta’s past.
This was my favourite part of my trip and where I found the most to do. You can stroll through the ancient looking streets and dip in and out of museums. And if your legs tire out, visit the many horses that will give you a carriage ride through its walls.

Uncover the mysteries of the Ggantija Temples, located on the idyllic island of Gozo. These awe-inspiring structures predate the Egyptian Pyramids, showcasing the ancient architectural marvels of Malta. Visit the impressive Red Tower, also known as Saint Agatha’s Tower, located in Marfa, just a short drive from Mellieha. Please note that shade is limited, so it’s advisable to consider the age of any accompanying young children.

Features: Malta’s largest indoor club, spread over 2,000 square meters and catering for up to 3,400 party people. Admission fees and drink prices vary based on events.
Shadow Club
Location: Triq Santa Rita, St. Julian’s
Features: A popular destination for EDM with a great atmosphere, especially on busier nights. Offers three fully stocked bars and a good cocktail menu. Free admission.

Location: Level 22, Portomaso Tower, St. Julian’s
Features: Provides an elegant and classy experience high above, with beautiful views for dancing and enjoying drinks with friends. Entrance is usually free, but there may be occasional charges.

Gianpula Village (Rabat)
Features: The largest open-air nightclub in Malta, hosting numerous party events. Located within the limits of Rabat and usually packed during weekends.
Uno Malta (Ta’ Qali Crafts Village)
Features: Boasting the largest dancefloor on the islands, Uno Malta offers four full-sized bars and a capacity of 4,000 people. It is highly popular with locals for its Sunday night parties.
Aria Complex (San Ġwann)
